Google OAuth / API User Data

Our platform uses Google OAuth to let you sign in with your Google account. This lets us access limited Google data to provide personalized interview prep features, like saving progress or tailoring content to your profile.

Data we access (only with your consent):

• Email address (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email): To create/log in to your account and send personalized updates.
• Basic profile (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile): Name and photo for your profile and session personalization.
• Gmail read-only (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly): Scan recent emails for recruiter/job mentions to suggest prep questions (e.g., company-specific interviews).
• Calendar read-only (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly): View your schedule to recommend optimal study times or flag conflicts.

How we use it:

• Personalize content and timing based on your job search and availability.
• Improve the service (e.g., aggregate anonymized trends).

We do NOT:

• Sell, rent, or share this data with third parties (except service providers under strict contracts).
• Use it for ads, marketing, or unrelated purposes.
• Store it longer than needed for your account/session.

You can revoke access anytime via myaccount.google.com/permissions. We'll delete associated data promptly. See Google's API Services User Data Policy for details.
